Content will include some very enjoyable iMoveFreely techniques that will improve movement ability and are fundamental to anyone who wants to move more freely, these will flow into specific Pilates exercises set at a moderate level to create functional strength, posture awareness & correction. I encourage a calm practice with emphasis on control, precision & breath. A true Mind Body class format, session ends with a short relaxation. I look forward to seeing you on your mat!
Strength & Balance 60+
Strength & Balance is designed for 60+ students. Class content will include evidence based exercises consisting of postural stability training, strength flexibility and functional movement, I encourage working with breath & concentration. I offer all exercises in seating or standing format, we may use tins of beans a tea towel and a cushion .Join me from your kitchen, bedroom or any other space you can move freely, you will need sturdy chair, suitable footwear and a can do attitude
Standing Pilates Workout with Weights
Standing Pilates Workout with weights is created for women who want to focus on Strengthening, Firming and overall body Conditioning, this is achieved through lower and upper body combinations fused with Pilates principles. Build a better body, Self Confidence and Resilience. Working on Posture and Balance improvement will also be key to this wonderful workout. Hand weights or tins needed. Suitable for 50+
My Hatha Yoga is suitable for age 50+ beginner and intermediate students , I teach with modifications encouraging the body never forcing, we performed with gentle strength, I also encourage turning the volume down on the mind so we can hear the body speaking, practice will include breath work (Pranayama) Postures (Asanas) and end in Relaxation (Yoga Nidra) we use a pillow, yoga strap, tie or scarf and a yoga block if you have one I use positive encouragement throughout the class and like to expand on the benefits of the movements as we practice. I look forward to teaching you from my home to yours.

Join me for a truly relaxing 30 minutes. Benefits reported and backed up by medical research, show regular relaxation practice can boost wellness, strengthen immune system, lower blood pressure, reduce stress, anxiety’s and tension whilst also calming a busy mind to improve focus, concentration, clarity and memory. You will need a room where you can sit or lay comfortably undisturbed, maybe cover yourself with a blanket to enhance the feeling of relaxation. All participants will be muted on entry to keep the atmosphere calm. If you know anyone who you feel may benefit they are more than welcome.
