OMFITNESS Classes

Zoom Hatha Yoga class meetings will run weekly on Wednesdays at 11am – 12:30pm. Class content will include physical postures (Asanas), breathing exercises (Pranayama) and Relaxation (Yoga Nidra) You will need a quiet space to move, a mat, a blanket, a block if you have one or a cushion and a yoga strap tie or scarf.

New students welcome but please get in touch before you book the class.

 

This class will run weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 11am – 12:30pm. Class content will include imovefreely techniques, Pilates exercises and relaxation. You will need a quiet space to move freely.

Zoom chair based Postural Stability Instruction class meetings will run weekly on Tuesdays at 11am – 12:00pm. Class content will include posture improvement, chair based exercises & movements. Some seated and standing work will be performed to improve strength and balance ending with a short relaxation. You will need a quiet space to move freely, a sturdy chair and suitable footwear.

It is now more important than ever to look after your mental and emotional health, join me for a truly relaxing 30 minutes on Friday’s at 7pm, benefits reported and backed up by medical research, show regular relaxation practice can boost wellness, strengthen immune system, lower blood pressure, reduce stress, anxiety’s and tension whilst also calming a busy mind to improve focus, concentration, clarity and memory. You will need a room where you can sit or lay comfortably undisturbed, maybe cover yourself with a blanket to enhance the feeling of relaxation. All participants will be muted on entry to keep the atmosphere calm. If you know anyone who you feel may benefit they are welcome.

Class Details

This Class centres on senior students meeting their appropriate exercise needs with like minded people. The exercises, movements and activities are functional
and challenging. Some seated and standing work will be performed to improve strength and balance. Class ends with a short relaxation.

Hatha Yoga

Class Details

These Yoga sessions are set at a moderate level, Proper form and alignment is encouraged throughout the class whilst improving strength/flexibility/balance/stamina and inner calm. The class will consist of basic and moderate poses, some poses are organised into a flow routine which the class will follow together. The class ends with breath work (pranayama) and a meditation/relaxation (Yoga Nidra).

iMoveFreely Pilates

Class Details

The iMovefreely program consists of techniques and exercises that have a proven success rate in helping low grade non-specific pain (including back pain) and also an improvement to back function, these easy to follow exercises precede Pilates Exercises to improve strength, mobility of joints, posture and breathing. The Exercises are performed laid on mats and free standing. Class ends with a short relaxation.
