At the All Nations Center in Cardiff, 2,000 bodybuilders, strongmen and women, powerlifters and fitness enthusiasts attended the fitness event of the year. The Welsh Fitness Expo was organized by one of the UK’s leading boxing broadcasters, Ali Drew.
Licensing Expo Announces June Date, Reveals Fashion Theme For 2023
The show celebrated the best of the Welsh and UK fitness industry, showcasing brands from sports nutrition, sportswear, strength equipment and gym accessories. The exhibition demonstrated that Wales is at the heart of the UK fitness industry and a significant contributor to the Welsh economy.
The Welsh Fitness Expo also hosted the first ever Welsh Fitness Classic which saw Natasha Minchella crowned Welsh Fitness Classic Champion and Piotr Karol Welsh Fitness Classic Champion.
It was a conformation of something I’ve always known in the fitness community. Welsh fitness is part of the fabric of Welsh life and our communities. Even more importantly, Welsh fitness is a huge revenue generator for the economy. However, it is always overlooked in favor of more traditional economic sectors. The Welsh Fitness Expo and Welsh Fitness Classic have only scratched the surface of its potential. The aim is to create a global fitness event in Wales.”
With the date soon to be announced for 2023, the goal for next year is to get even bigger! There are plans to make the Welsh Fitness Expo 2023 the fitness event of the year in Europe.
