iMovefreely Pilates

The iMovefreely program consists of techniques and exercises that have a proven success rate in helping low grade non-specific pain (including back pain) and also an improvement to back function, these easy to follow exercises precede Pilates Exercises to improve strength, mobility of joints, posture and breathing. The Exercises are performed laid on mats and free standing. Class ends with a short relaxation.

Hatha Yoga

These Yoga sessions are set at a moderate level, Proper form and alignment is encouraged throughout the class whilst improving strength/flexibility/balance/stamina and inner calm. The class will consist of basic and moderate poses, some poses are organised into a flow routine which the class will follow together. The class ends with breath work and a meditation/relaxation.

Wednesday Mapplewell Village Hall 11:30 – 13:00


This Class centres on senior students meeting their appropriate exercise needs with like minded people. The exercises, movements and activities are functional and challenging. Some seated and standing work will be performed, with a short balance workshop each class. Class ends with a short relaxation.

Pilates Class

Jane is professional, knowledgeable and kind, the passion for her subject matter is contagious, she has changed not just my body but my whole mindset, giving me lots of confidence over the many years she has taught me Posture Pilates.

I have gained better posture and I am building my core muscles.I also like how this class has changed my thinking. I no longer slouch. I have a great sense of well being after each class and I really like the way Jane teaches us and progresses us each week.

The teacher is very inspirational, I love the feeling the postures give me and the ambience of the class. Its good to meet other like minded people.
